Sustaining the move of God through non-stop prayer

"So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. His going forth is as certain as the

Hosea 6:3

40-Day Fast Prayer Guide

“Should evil come upon us, the sword, or judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house and before you and cry to you in our distress, and you will hear and deliver us.”
2 Chronicles 20:9

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or the arrow that flies by day; a thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you.”
Psalm 91:1-7

“Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.”
1 Corinthians 16:13

Specific Prayer Points in Response to COVID-19

  1. In Repentance: Pray that the Body of Christ will have humble and repentant hearts before God

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” 2 Chronicles 7:14-15

    • That we will take a humble and low position before God, pray, seek His face and turn away from our sin (James 4:8, Jer 29:13)
    • That God in His mercy will cause our hearts to be deeply convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit of our sin which is egregious to Him (John 16:8)
    • That our idols will be torn down and we will truly turn away from every form of idolatry, the love of money, greed, pride, indifference, racism, all forms of sexual immorality and the murdering of our children for the sake of convenience (Zech 13:2, Prov 28:13, Mark 7:21-23)
    • That the eyes, ears and heart of God will be open to our prayers and to America again (2 Chron 7:15)
    • That God will not remove His hand of protection nor His loving merciful presence from America (Is 41:10)

  2. In Return: Pray that America will return to God.

”The Lord says: “These people come near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is based on merely human rules they have been taught.” Isaiah 29:13

“Therefore tell the people: This is what the LORD Almighty says; ‘Return to Me, “declares the LORD Almighty, ‘and I will return to you, ‘says the LORD Almighty.” Zechariah 1:3

“I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord. They will be My people, and I will be there God, for they will return to Me with all their heart.” Jeremiah 24:7

    • That we will come to our senses and turn back to God so that our hearts burn again with real passion for God and for the things of His Kingdom (Luke 15:17, 2 Tim 2:24-26)
    • That the Lord will give America a heart to know, honor, love, and trust Him like never before (Jer 24:7)
    • That America will throw off all false religion and tradition which inhibits many from wholeheartedly worshipping God in spirit and in truth (Jn 4:24)
    • That God will cause good to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic, including bringing millions to Christ and turning the hearts of the parents back to their children and the children back to their parents (2 Chron 20:9, Mal 4:6, Rom 8:28)

  3. In Consecration: Pray for the Body of Christ to be the light of the world in the midst of great darkness

“But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.” 1 Peter 3:15

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

    • That the Body of Christ will do good deeds that shine for all to see, so that everyone will praise the Heavenly Father (Mt 5:14-16)
    • That believers will be pillars of faith, calm in the midst of the storm, showing the hope that is within them and have compassion for non-believers who are distressed, fearful, and uncertain (2 Tim 2:15, 1 Thes 5:11, Gal 5:22-23)
    • That non-believers will see the witness of believers and run to God, taking hold of the hope offered to them through Christ, the firm and secure anchor for their souls (Heb 6:18-19, Acts 2:43)
    • That we will be committed to a deeper consecration, dedicate our lives to His purposes like never before, and be the light to the world in the midst of great darkness and chaos (Mt 5:14-16)

  4. In Authority: That we have faith in God and use our God-given authority to see the COVID-19 plague driven from our land

“And Jesus answered them, ‘Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be taken up and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.’” Mark 11:22-24

”Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

“Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “No longer shall there ever be any fruit from you.” And at once the fig tree withered.” Matthew 21:19

“Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.” John 14:12

    • That the Body of Christ will stand together in the authority Jesus has given to us and see COVID-19 removed from our land (Mark 11:22-24, 2 Chron 7:14-15, Ps 91; Mark 16:17-18)
    • That believers will stand in the authority Jesus has given for the protection of our families, our ministries, our cities, our nation, to curse COVID-19 commanding it to cease functioning and to wither up and die (Matt 21:19, Mk 11:12-25, Luke 8:22-25, Mark 16:17-18)
    • That God will put His Spirit of skill and wisdom on scientists and medical professionals and perhaps choose to defeat COVID-19 through vaccines, therapeutics, and medical protocols (Ex 31:1-6, 1 Cor 2:14-16)
    • That the Body of Christ will sow in the opposite spirit of COVID-19, faith versus fear, hope versus doubt, life versus death, peace versus anxiety, and love versus selfishness (1 Cor 13:4-8, 13; Phil 4:6-7, 2 Tim 1:7)
    • That God will cause the COVID-19 crisis to work for the good of His people, the gospel of Jesus Christ to go viral throughout our land, and His glory to be recognizable to all (Rom 1:16 & 8:28, Eph 3:21)
